I decided to do The 30 Day Shred workout video by Jillian Michaels. So far, so good…I’m on day two and not dead yet! It really surprised me when I first started yesterday, I never thought it’d take so much work to do a “simple” regular pushup! I couldn’t even do one! I had to do the modified version! I couldn’t believe it! All those pushups I did in high school (instead of getting detention)…Eh well, I’m no cheerleadering…not anymore! I feel really great after working out, sore yes…but great! Energized. I wake up and don’t feel like I should go back to bed 2 hours later. Of course, my decision to eat healthier probably has made a difference too. I’m not eating so much junk. Drinking more water…ect. Although, I will admit, my daily serving of ice cream is something I probably won’t give up! I don’t drink soda anymore (unless it’s a rare occasion we go out) and I don’t drink coffee either. I’m sure breastfeeding takes it’s fair share of calories too. So, I try really hard to at least get 1800 calories a day for that reason..but usually only get 1400 or so. I’ve been keeping track of my calorie intake and exercise on livestrong.com.
I am really hoping to lose the pudge that comes after having a baby, perhaps I’ll be swimsuit ready by July!
