We’ve been so blessed this Christmas.
First, my mother/father in law sent us enough money to get new tires on our vehicle so that we could travel safe (our tires were bald).
I traveled better then I thought, being that I am nearing the end of the second trimester. Yay!
We left early in the morning on December 21st, and arrived at my in laws home in Michigan around dinner time. I was so ready to get out of the car…even though we’d made time to stop every 2 hours or so. I was tired.
We spent Saturday with my father in law while he played with his brass band at the mall. It was lovely, I just love hearing them play. They played some hymns and lots of carols. Clint bought me a prezil and a smoothie which were delicious.
Sunday we went to church and for whatever reason, I was hot. I thought I was going to throw up, so I ended up going to the bathroom during service twice. Luckily I didn’t throw up and got cooled off. The sanctuary was just really warm. We stayed after service to fellowship with some old friends we’d not seen since our wedding. 🙂 It was nice to catch up.
Monday we went to service again and sang carols.
Christmas was Tuesday. Clint and I bought got lots of ornaments for our tree (next year). & a few gift cards. Our of all of our gifts my favorite was my lil Snowbaby that my mother in law bought me. It’s got 3 pegnins on it and says “Proud Parents”! Awe. She also bought our son his car seat! Yay!
We are so blessed, I owe very thing I have and will have in the coming year to my Lord and Savior who has provided everything we’ve needed. Even our lil’ bundle of joy! Can’t wait to meet him!
